1. Damn, Virginia has the most schizophrenic winter weather of any place I have ever lived. Last week it was sunny and in the mid to lower 70’s and this week ,the sky is a hard concrete grey and it’s struggling to get up into the lower 40’s. Knowing how things are over here, I bet the mercury in the thermometer will jump up to the 80’s tomorrow and it will be dry as as a bone and a few days after that, we will get 10 feet of snow. That wouldn’t surprise me one bit.

Virginia summers on the other hand, which seem to last from March till late November, the weather doesn’t change at all: hot and humid. Imagine that.

2. Does anyone out there amongst my faithful reading several know how can one successfully pitch a television pilot script to the BBC? I been working on a idea for several months now and today during some down time at my internship, I wrote a series bible and outlines for three or four episodes, out of the customary BBC standard of six episodes per season, or series, as they like to call it.

Hell, it doesn’t have be the BBC that buys my script. I’d settle for an ITV contract, just as long I can get the always brillant, but strangely severely underrated, Kevin Eldon to star in it.

3. Speaking of downtime at the internship, I can’t get used to the fact that people take an entire hour and sit down for lunch. At my regular job doing HVAC, we usually skip lunch so we can leave work early or we are so busy that we have to eat on the go. So here I am in the break room and I’m so used to eating on the run that I scarf my lunch down within 5 minutes and raring to get back on the job. But regulations require me to sit there dumbstruck for 55 more minutes. But I’m not complaining.
